Civil War Site

This house served as a valuable resorce in two significant Civil War battles.
As in most Civil War battles the Union had one name for the battle and the South had another name.
What are both names used to identify the action that occured here?

What name is this building refered to?

This is the Matthews Stone House at Bull Run/Manassas. Site of two battles, yet not used as a headquarters by either side, each time. Mostly held wounded soldiers from one side or the other.

Manassas and Antetam but I don't remember the name of the building.

The Stone house at Battlefield Manassas was used as a hospital during both battles. First/Second battle of Bull Run or First/Second battle of Manassas.

Close but not quite.
Antietam was know as Battle of Antieam Creek (or just Antietam) and the Battle of Sheapardstown.

Here we are talking about 1st &
2nd Manassas or

1st & 2nd Battle of Bull Run.

Did you think that all your readers are from a compound in Delmar?

I mean we are smart, some of us have actually read a book or two, or even been to The Cornfield [Pause, here for a moment of silent reflection].

You need to come up with some tougher Q's. LOL
