I've always been a bit of a penny pincher so when the salesman offered the bargain tour of Mt. Rushmore I jumped on it. He assured me we would get closer to the monument than most folks ever have, and see it in a perspective that is seldom published.
Little did I know the bus trip only toured the back side of the memorial.
