Albero shows some real class in his “reporting” today. Wouldn’t a statement of fact be sufficient concerning the tragic deaths on Washington Street without the morbid description of the scene? Firefighters often go to great lengths to shield the public from such scenes and Albero sees fit to explicate what is better left alone. Has Albero no compassion for the families or friends of the victims?
Albero has stepped over the line on this one. He has allowed his quest for sensationalism and self-glorification to completely quell any commiseration that a normal human being should have.
Interesting also is his claim of the City mainly harping on renters to have smoke detectors and not homeowners. I would ask him to provide some proof of this. The City and the fire department have always encouraged the use of smoke detectors and never have distinguished any difference as to ownership of a property.
Fire knows no season, no individual, no financial status, and does not have the ability to pick and choose its victim. No one knows this better than the fire department and the men and women who serve.

This is similiar to his car crash pictures. He has no respect for the feelings of any family members or loved ones. Now he attempts to kiss up to firefighters by promoting free smoke detectors and saying the fireman are so "cool" they will even install it for you.
This whole Albero thing has grown boring, predictable, and tiresome . . .
I concur with your advise to the Watchdesk: Ignore Albero, as attention, whether it be positive or negative, is what he wants most. When people respond, it only adds fuel to his fire and sucks them down into the depths of his narcissistic and bipolar realm of continuous self-promotion . . .
Let it go, relax, and be thankful you're not him . . . they guy's a sad, sad case . . .

I agree. However buy not standing up to his half truths and lies, those reading the BLOGS often have nothing to compare to. In as much, his drivel becomes truth to the uninformed. As old as it has become I will continue to attempt to let the truth shine through. Others have taken up the task as well. Straight shooter, Tomcat, and historical wit have also seen the need to continue.
I appreciate the fact you read read my BLOG. I have quite a bit of insiration in yours.

Joe is a classless act. Karma says he will get what he deserves. One day he will be the victim. There will be an incident he doesn't want publicized for reasons close to home. And because of his ways, he will never get the benefit of the doubt.

I could not agree more with this posting. Think about the love ones that are suffering. What a arrogent littel boy Joe is, he has no consideration for anyone but himself......and possibly Campbell & Cohen. I do believe he'd turn on them also if it would forward his quest to destroy Salisbury.
People should read this.
